Seven years ago, I began my career as a marketing copywriter and copy editor in Phoenix, Arizona after graduating with dual Bachelor’s degrees in English and Communication from Arizona State University. My early roles include working at a digital marketing agency, a health and wellness company, and a B2B SaaS company.

After a move to Chicago during the tail end of the pandemic, I pivoted to working at a PR and communications agency, seeking community involvement and connection. In that job, I learned that multimedia and in-person experiences were as much fun for me as the on-paper ones. I got to try my hand at event planning for networking events and professional summits as well as video and photo shoots.

My hobbies include exploring the city via public transit, taking long walks to coffee shops and thrift stores, volunteering with local nonprofits, and enjoying Chicago’s parks and nature areas — most especially, Lake Michigan.

Understanding the place I live and supporting my neighbors are motivating factors for me, so I always enjoy getting to work with local organizations when I have the chance. I also like taking on projects that have high impact for customers or donors.
